Recently, Mike Sullivan conducted an interview with Paul Saputo, a criminal defense lawyer in Texas, to discuss why he chose a Saputo.law as his web address.
In the interview, Paul conveyed that there are several reasons as to why he chose a .law web address over the many web extensions available. The most important being that .law provided him and simple, brand friendly web address that is easy to remember.
Paul also pointed out that “…having the dot law would add credibility to my domain since it would make it obvious that I was a lawyer.”
The interview gave a real glimpse into the mind of an actual domain end user, with Paul highlighting the fact that the “…new TLDs make it easier to establish a brand identity”.
